Holy spirit lead in ministry

Holy spirit lead in ministry
S -Acts 16:6-10 (NASB)
6 They passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia ;7 and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them;8 and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas.9 A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us."10 When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

O  -  The path to sharing the Gospel should always be Holy Spirit lead.  Paul examples this well in his journeys because he had his desires and thoughts on were he ought to go, but showed obedience to the Holy Spirit on where not to enter.  He maintained a seeking heart and continued to travel until it became more clear where God was calling Him to preach the Gospel.

A -  The last couple of our reckless faith study have had us understand that we are to spread seed reckless, because only God knows the soil;  we are to recklessly love because God recklessly loves us and people will begin to understand God's love by how we love them and one another.   The holy spirit is the source of discernment  on where to scatter,  God's love is the power by which we spread it.

P - Dear heavenly Father, thank you for today's devotion, may it be sealed to my heart . I pray Lord for both a filling of your Holy Spirit within me so that I might not miss an opportunity to participate  in delivery of the good news/  Lord fill me with you love, so that it would overflow out me to my family and those you have put in my life.  I pray all this in Jesus name, Amen.
