Wonderfully made by the creator

Wonderfully made by the creator

 S - Psalm 139:1-17, 23-24 (NASB)

13 For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
...

 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.

O - Desperately I seek to stay defined by and connected to my creator.   David speaks truth of who God is and who we are.  David's vulnerability and dependence on God and yet his outward strength are encouraging to my soul.

A - The application for me is to be undone by these words of David, to realize God all along knows who he made me to be and he is pleased with his creation.  As such, I am to seek God's words for me he knows me and what I was created for.   In times of anxiousness like today I am reminded by David to seek God insightful word in my own life.  Though I press forward daily confident of his deliverance from this season, I seek his insight today to relieve my weary soul.

P - Dear heavenly Father thank you for today's lesson, may it be sealed to my heart Lord. Lord I pray for deleverance from this season, please let your word of truth resound in me, to dry out the doubts and fears of who I am and who I am to be for your kingdom.   I pray all this in Jesus name, Amen.
