God perfect provision

S-
Better is a dry morsel and quietness with it
Than a house full of feasting with strife. (Proverbs 17:1 NASB)

He who conceals a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates intimate friends. (Proverbs 17:9 NASB)

The beginning of strife is like letting out water,
So abandon the quarrel before it breaks out. (Proverbs 17:14 NASB)

He who restrains his words has knowledge,
And he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. (Proverbs 17:27 NASB)

The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge,
And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man's gift makes room for him
And brings him before great men. (Proverbs 18:15, 16 NASB)

He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the LORD. (Proverbs 18:22 NASB)

Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge,
And he who hurries his footsteps errs. (Proverbs 19:2 NASB)

House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the LORD. (Proverbs 19:14 NASB)

Discipline your son while there is hope,
And do not desire his death. (Proverbs 19:18 NASB)

Many plans are in a man's heart,
But the counsel of the LORD will stand. (Proverbs 19:21 NASB)

O - The wise council of The Lord from these proverbs shows the diversity and who lenses of His wisdom. From relationships with our wife, our kids, our family ,our co workers. There is wise council which is behavior and a heart that represents God well. Both humility and hunger for knowledge, acceptance of correction and gracefulness in correcting. Gods plan for our life is perfectly sufficient and our only hardship is to understand his ways and follow Him.

A - The application for me is to recognize that these proverbs can serve as markers to remind me to be thankful for Gods perfect provision, in material things, in a wife, in children, and in skills and knowledge. I must trust in these perfect provisions to continue walk in the circumstances God has placed me in for His glory.

P - dear Heavenly Father, thank you for you perfect provision. I pray Lord you would build my confidence, patience, and prudence in heart, mind and soul in the days ahead.
